11/26/2016 Caring Community DayThe Lower School welcomed visitors for Caring Community Day. In Kindergarten, KB worked with their guests to create a Native American story using pictographs. They then told the story as their guest transcribed it to be put together as a classbook that will be donated to Children's Hospital along with the many other books chosen to be sent. They also worked together to create a turkey centerpiece out of an apple and a variety of other edible materials.
11/26/2016 Harvest FeastWe were able to share the butter created with the Making Butter Boogie at our Harvest Feast. The other classes made applesauce (KB helped peel the apples too), mini apple and pumpkin pies and cornbread.
